I apparently had a bugged Tidalis install when I was playing it in preparation for this review post I did yesterday. These bugs only affected about 20 people who had been playing since the BETA, but I was one of the unlucky ones. The very short version is the updater wasn’t adding files correctly. Thus I had a bugged experience, which explains some graphic glitches I would have during game play. I had to install the full version again, but no loss really. Thanks to Chris Park for helping me fix the issues. Since the problems I mentioned in the blog were already implemented in 1.0 and I had failed to get the right version, I have gone back and revised my review to incorporate the more accurate picture of Tidalis. More specifically, my part where I talked about sound, as they had replaced the trumpeting with strings. Which is a lot easier to listen to I might add. So go back and read it, and then rate it! 🙂
So that’s that. Thanks for reading and have a good day everyone.
